OUR CAMPAIGN
The devastation of the earthquake in Haiti has resulted in an outpouring of humanitarian aid. While the efforts have been extraordinary, so is the need. In an effort to keep that pour flowing, we are starting our own Haiti Relief campaign.
100% of the proceeds from the merchandise for sale on this site will be split between two Haitian Relief efforts: Concerned Haitian Americans of Illinois and Yéle Haiti. Digital images — including a high-res PDF, computer and device wallpapers and social network badges/avatars — are available to download for free. It is yours to print or share however you please, so long as it is not for commercial use.*
In addition to these proceeds, we will match up to $3,000 of the net proceeds and donations collected on this site. We only ask that you really pay for shipping.
While our monetary contribution might pale in comparison to other international efforts, we hope that we all can join together and share this image and message of hope for Haiti throughout the world.

ABOUT THE IMAGE
“Des espwa,” in Haitian Creole, translates to “hopeless.” But as help makes its way to Haiti, it is clear that the one thing left standing is hope. An abstraction of the seismography from the devastating 7.0 earthquake on January 12th illustrates that all is not lost; “espwa,” or “hope,” carries on.
A dust covered dove carries the Haitian flag in place of an olive branch. The red and blue colors — symbols of Haiti’s multi-ethnic population — run through the dove, embodying the nation’s motto: "In Union There Is Strength."
